Great Site. Lots of work put into it. Would like to know your proof documentation on connection between James (1607) and Daniel II (1641). I show Daniel's father as Daniel? (help!) Thanks....Paul Bunnell |

Was just cruising the Heartland Genealogy Society webring and thought I"d drop by to sign your guestbook, even though I don"t think there is a connection but thought your Page is looking great. At the present I am researching my father's -BARNES- side of y family. A relative who owns my great grandmother's family bible gave me some names about a year ago and it includes a lineage to Stephen Hopkins of the Mayflower, through his son Giles. I thought it was kinda neat. Well thats all for now & happy hunting |

My mother told me I was named after a Lela she had met when she was a teenager. She "just liked" the name. When I saw the phrase "Montana house" in the search engine summary, I had to take a look. I was born in Glasgow Montana in March 1951. Thanks for a uick trip down a little lane of memory. |

I hope to learn more about the Kittel family if you can help. My grandparents Robert Dean and his wife Vera Kittel live in Clifton CO if that helps. I am very intrested cuz I reacently found out that my mothers father who we have all thought was German urned out to be Russian Jew who was trying to escape the Houlocost. It was weird to suddnely be on the other side of that war. Anyway any info would be helpful even if it is just how it ends in EL instead of LE like little. Thank you for your time. sincerly Randal L. Manley, I was in Starbuck in May for a meeting of my Aunt's Foundation, and I was able to take my 92 year old Mother back to Starbuck for what will certainly have been her last visit, as she is not well. Just this evening I booked my next visit for a further meeting in late August. I know that, while it might be hot in late August, at least the Minnewaska Lake Flies will be somewhat less abundant. Best Greetings to you and your family. David Ness (Grandson of Anton Ness, Lumberman and former owner of the `Kjnoass Clock')... |

My grandparents raised their family consisting of 4 children in Starbuck in the 1880-1950 time frame. They were Anton and (Bertha) Julia Ness and their childern were Alvin, Lester, Gladys and Norman (my father). Due to polio epidemics in the Twin Cities in the late 40s, I spent several summers in Starbuck during my childhood. Thank you for your very nice pictures. They brought back many memories for both me and my brother. |

Wonderful pictures of old Starbuck! My father Norman Ness (b. 1905, d. 1987) grew up there, the son of Anton Ness, brother of Alvin, Lester and Gladys. I spent a lot of time in Starbuck in my youth (mostly during the 50's) and still visit now and then. |

Sure is a small world, isn't it??? I'll be in e-mail contact with you, but want to let you and everyone else who reads your GuestBook know that we are (or have been and have temporarily lost) in contact with quite a few of the descendants of Wi liam E. DOTY and Susannah C[harlotte??] CRULL ... mostly GLASPEYs!!! Later, Gator! |
